Are there are upcoming webinars which offer application fee waivers for NUS ? Or is there any specific link where we can check the same ?
You can attend an upcoming webinar on 8th Jan to get more details around the application fee waiver from the admission team. Providing link for reference - https://nus-sg.zoom.us/webinar/register ... gistration

What was your actual role in the edtech industry, which firms did you work at? It would be helpful to know your post MBA aspirations as well and how does NUS fit into that plan. Additionally, if there are aspects beyond work that add value to your profile, it would be worthwhile to know that. Your scores are on the lower side so you’ll need a well articulated and strong application to be able to improve your chances.
Worked in companies like Toppr, Physics Wallah in various capacities like Program Management, Video Creation, Storyboarding, Curriculum development and Book Pubishing. Have managed a team of around 500 freelancers for the company across Physics, Chemistry and Maths.

Can anyone tell me if NUS has rolling admissions ? Asking if I should wait until the R2 application deadline to submit my essays or try to finish it early to increase my chances of getting shortlisted

If your application is ready to be submitted, no need to wait till the deadline. Shortlisting is done on a rolling basis

Hi musagarw , I hope you are doing well! NUS MBA has a round-based admissions system, not rolling admissions, meaning all applications submitted within a specific round are reviewed together after the deadline. Submitting your application earlier within the same round does not provide any advantage in increasing your chances of getting shortlisted. Instead, the admissions committee values a well-prepared and compelling application. If your essays need more time to refine, it’s better to focus on improving their quality rather than rushing to submit early. That said, submitting slightly ahead of the deadline can help you avoid last-minute technical issues. Good luck!

Hi all!

I am reaching out for clarification on the essays. Since you can only view the essay prompts once you submit stage 1 on the portal and I am yet to finalise few items on stage 1 but at the same time want to get started on the essays, can you please confirm the exact wording and especially the word count of all the 3 mandatory essays.

Q1 How have people, events, and/or situations in your life influenced who you are today? (250 words)

Q2 How do you plan to spend your time on the MBA to transform yourself personally and professionally? Briefly describe your experience to date, and how this and the MBA can help you achieve your mid and long-term career goals. (250 words)

Q3 Describe a situation where you turned a challenging personal or professional scenario into an opportunity for success, detailing how your insights, adaptability, and decision-making skills played a crucial role. (250 words)

Thanks a lot!
Also, the word limit for essays - is it correct here ?

Has the essay prompts change for R2, Was there an optional essay in R1, where additional information was asked?

Also, do we have separate essay for scholarships?

Hi @Shreyas23230195 , I hope you are doing well!

All 3 essay questions are required this time! No optional essay. Last year they had a seperate scholarship question. Did not see it this year!

Essay Questions:

1. How have people, events, and/or situations in your life influenced who you are today? (250 words)
2. How do you plan to spend your time on the MBA to transform yourself personally and professionally? Briefly describe your experience to date, and how this and the MBA can help you achieve your mid and long-term career goals. (250 words)
3. Describe a situation where you turned a challenging personal or professional scenario into an opportunity for success, detailing how your insights, adaptability, and decision-making skills played a crucial role. (250 words)

Regarding scholarships, applicants must indicate their intent to be considered for a scholarship by checking the relevant box. Outstanding applicants who do so will automatically be considered for one. No separate application is needed.

When you select Yes for Scholarship, it shows the below details to be acknowledged:

Expression of Interest for Scholarship
Thank you for your interest in applying for a scholarship as part of your NUS MBA journey. Our scholarships are designed to support individuals who demonstrate outstanding professional achievements and potential, or a genuine financial need.

Scholarship Eligibility and Expectations
Scholarship recipients will assume the role of a trailblazer within our community. This involves:
1)Serving as a role model for fellow students
2)Actively contributing to the cohort’s learning experience
3)Assisting in our program’s marketing and recruitment efforts on occasion for up to a total of 50 hours
4)Delivering strong academic performance consistently (average GPA of 3.5 each semester)

These responsibilities are integral to the enrichment of our community and the ongoing success of our programs.

Commitment to Pay It Forward
By applying for this scholarship, you acknowledge the terms outlined above and, if selected, pledge to ’pay it forward’ in ways that enhance the value of our programme for future students. This commitment is crucial and reflects the spirit of leadership and community that we cherish.

Confirmation
I acknowledge the scholarship terms and, if selected, commit to fulfilling the responsibilities associated with this opportunity to the best of my ability.
Please review all sections of this application carefully and submit your complete application by the specified deadline. We look forward to reviewing your submission and potentially welcoming you as a scholarship recipient in our esteemed NUS MBA program.

Please take a look at the "Admissions and funding" section from the official NUS website for more information on the scholarships. Good luck!
