Yes, they have. That's to the best of my knowledge. And, if I had to guess (based on my knowledge of school and prior experience), the final decisions will start flying out come December. :)

P.S. Don't put me on the stand or in an indictment for this. Admissions can be unpredictable.

I applied on 10/14 and still have not heard anything. I am a bit worried that this may be the end of the road if others have already gotten invites but I am trying to tell myself that Jan 1st is still a long way away. Is there some invisible deadline after which, if you have not gotten an invite, you should expect a rejection, given that apps are read on a rolling basis?

They have up until January 1st to invite you, and it seems as if they are the slowest on interview invites.

Math time: if they get roughly the same number of applicants as reported last year ~3000 and 1/4 applied this first round that's 750, let's say that they get to 10 per day (if they truly read and review every app) that means 75 days, divide by 5 for 5 work days per week and you get 15 weeks until they're at the end.

Ignore the math: basically it is realistic to expect that they will use the full amount of time they have.

That's one thing that I liked about Stern. They take time! It means that they might be actually going through the entire application in depth and reviewing it holistically, unlike some other schools who give out the admission invite also after a week of the deadline.

All the best everyone!

To the Stern applicants : Is applying to Round 3 worth if my profile literally defines the word 'Diversity' as I'm a professional football player since 4 years and yet to give my GMAT?

I'm 22 yo male, Indian. Graduated this year. Bachelor of Business Management in International Business.

Of you are only 22 I think you can get more experience before applying to an MBA. Or consider early career programs =)

No one knows for sure. There are lots of guesses and plenty of speculation that you can read in this topic, but the bottom line is that they have until midnight on December 31st. It's stressful for all of us, but we just have to wait and trust that we each did our best to submit a high quality application.

Here is the link to the profile evaluation topic: https://gmatclub.com/forum/is-stern-a-r ... 03969.html

Stern's advice is to apply when you feel you can submit your best possible application. General MBA application advice is that applying earlier is always better. You should apply as soon as possible as an international student, and probably should have applied already as many sources will advise international students to apply in R1 or R2 when there are more spots available.

Here's my two cents:

1. Just 22 and freshly graduated, you should be considering programs like HBS 2+2, Stanford early career admissions etc. Note that schools hardly encourage applying without ample experience under your belt however diverse your profile is (guess how'd you justify your Bachelor of Business Management in International Business when you are playing professional football? Moreover, and more importantly, how do you justify the immediate need of MBA??? Think over that)
2. Since b-schools strongly discourage international candidates from applying in R3, my advice would be to apply in R1 next year. Why waste time, money, and effort when the schools are advising against it?

P.S. Don't want to discourage you, but your version of 'literally defining 'Diversity'' may not resonate with the adcoms as there are many such accomplished candidates.
