I am ready with my essay 1 but essay 2 is so tricky. Every approach I take for the pick-six feels like a been there done that approach and I am not satisfied with any pictures I've picked so far. In one of the adcom sessions I asked if collages are allowed and they said "yes, be as creative as you want to be" but my friend thinks it would make it seem like I can't shortlist pictures and I am indecisive. Is that true? Is there a place on the forum where I can find some tips on this? Thank you so much in advance for reading this. Cheers :)

Hey caffeineoverload just sharing from my experience..

What I read from research and applied to my own essay, is that for pick 6 you’re going to want to show your personality.. I believe they want to see a different side of you outside your professional & academic life/achievements. Ie, don’t repeat anything you’ve already expressed in your career goals essay (which should touch on past experiences too) and CV.

Hi, did anyone receive invites to interview after submitting their R1 full-time MBA applications? Perhaps I am psyching myself out but I was reading last year's thread and saw that some were invited as soon as 10 days after submitting the application. Am I being irrational or has anyone been invited yet.

They say that but usually send out invites much earlier. Last year invites were out towards end of Oct and in Nov. This year they haven't started I guess. May be too many applications like other schools.

NYU Stern released 2020 employment numbers. 92% received offers 3 months after graduation, a drop from previous year's 95%, still solid numbers overall

Because employment is just one of the factors considered in Rankings. For instance, Foster school has a small class size of around 100 and 99% employment rate but it is ranked around 20th. The bigger brands get more applications and have lower acceptance rates and high yield, these contribute a lot to the ranking.

Since you mentioned CBS, check out GMATclub's ranking here, NYU is ranked 4th for ROI (7th overall rank) and CBS is 14th (11th overall rank)
