people who have already given their interviews on skype,
just a basic question here..
how to go about answering the "walk me through your resume" question?
any pointers??

In my interview, I started with my undergrad explaining only the highlights (nothing in detail, only major accomplishments) and then went on to my professional career right away. Since I have been with the same company since my undergrad, I talked about various client that I have worked with, my daily routine at work, major accomplishments so far, awards/promotions etc. (make sure you dont get into technical details and all. Just talk in layman terms). Next I jumped on to my major extra-curriculars and hobbies and interests.

My interviewer did not ask anything about undergrad or workex and she directly asked me questions on my extra-curriculars (be prepared to answer questions as to why do you do XYZ activity).

Moreover, she asked me how I was able to adjust to professional working atmosphere right after college (this was a very generic question and could have several corret answers).

I didn't receive anything yet... I just told him that the adcom took one week to get back to me with an admit answer...

I have not received any update from the OLIN adcom about the status of my application. The application status just states that my application is complete. I see lot of people in this forum getting interview invites, with some admitted as well. Should I assume that I have not been shortlisted for interview?

Dont worry bro..U will get an opportunity ..its just a matter of time..
I have seen that the colleges u have applied are on the borderline of the avg GMAT.I would suggest to keep 2-3 safe univ too.

Hey man - I'm just pasting a part of the email I received - This was they had to say:

"The competition for admission this year has been extremely strong, and we unfortunately cannot offer all qualified candidates entry into the program. In addition, due to the significant increase in application volume and corresponding resource constraints, our office can no longer provide feedback for all denied candidates. Therefore, our current policy is to respectfully decline any individual requests for feedback."

Same here, mate! I am yet to receive any updates since my submission, and I think I will go crazy checking my inbox time and again for an update. Everytime I open this forum and someone has interviewed. Hope seems to be fading fast...

Anyhow, to those who have received interview invites - Were the invites received only between 15th Oct and 17th Oct? Or, were the invites sent on a rolling basis. For this might mean we still have a hope..

Guys... Is there anybody who's taken their interviews more than a week back and still waiting for an update? I took mine on 15th and haven't heard back yet. Should I be worried?
