But I am a bit skeptical owing to less than favorable placement scene for International applicants.
I was in touch with a current student and he did sound a bit pessimistic.
What is your view?

career outlook isn't that good at most european schools, many suffered at top programs such as INSEAD, IMD, LBS.. in contrast with US schools, look at the latest outcomes at Michigan's Ross, Dartmouth' Tuck, and even at Washington's Olin, they are all good for internationals.. here is a link to a useful website and related discussions:

Funny that you asked, ever since I got the admit I've been researching about placements as well. Will post more details once I get back the responses from my feelers, but from what I've found so far it's the same thing everywhere for int'l students and Oxford is no different.
