"I tried to call you earlier today (but it was almost midnight your time) to tell you the good news coming from MIT.

I havent received any email till now. The application page shows no update.

After 5 hours of despondency and trying to deal with the apparent rejection, I dont know if this email is a mistake or a hoax or real.


Congratulations! I can confirm I received a similar email. I emailed back (to thank him) and FYI'ed him that I had not received such an email. He replied and noted our chat but did not address the email. I'm sure it will come!

Same here. Though the irony is that I did undergrad at MIT. Thought my interview went really well and that I could obviously handle the work at MIT was something in my favor but not enough.

I was accepted with a 3.5 and 650 GMAT so it's tough to say what they're looking for. I think my work experience was what got me in.

From what I know some programs begin it after the March. However, one thing is for sure. It will be after putting deposit. They dont check people unless they are sure you are enrolled.
