So stanford has given the dates for interview notification... its right from Feb 2 to March 3.., Strange though.... when do typically applicants receive call for interviews

There isn't a typical time frame when applicants receive an interview invitation... they really do give out interview invitations from the first day to the last. People over-analyze interview invitations looking for a pattern, but I really don't think there is one. Good luck!

I agree that there really isn't a pattern. I received my interview invitation on the second to last day and was admitted, and I had spent far too much time worrying about the timing of the invitation up to that point. Try to relax and know that Stanford really does send invitations throughout the entire range of dates.

Have you decided between Harvard and Stanford yet? Quite the predicament you have... :)

Good luck everyone!! :)

How's the decision-making process going, whiplash? *cough* Go to Stanford *cough*

Not too shabby - still very overwhelmed, but will be making a final decision soon. :)

I did interview in Italian, with an Italian alumnus in London. Since I have been working in the UK for 6 years, I don't think he had doubts on the quality of my English. However, I wasn't expecting this, and it also made it slightly harder, cause I never worked one single day in my native country so I am just not used of thinking about work in any other language than English. I think it was his way of having a more natural conversation and breaking down my rehearsed answers!

nope, you apply for financial aid after you're accepted

Thank you! Are they pretty quick about it? I would think many people make their decisions based on financial aid also.
