yes we will get an email asking to log in into the portal where they will tell you if you are rejected or waitlisted for next round
in any case I wanted to share the following comment that gave me some hope
"I’ve had several clients get interview invites from Stanford on the last day of their range every round for several years. That is why they give that range -- the range INCLUDES the last day. Keep hope alive and best of luck!" - very famous mba admissions coach
