I had already submitted the priority waitlist form and they are asking me to submit the form before April 16th. Do I just submit the same thing again? There hasn’t been much change in my profile

I think it’s easy to forget that people don’t use this or reddit all the time and if they do they don’t necessarily share but also browse. Wouldn’t be surprised if there are admits here that haven’t shared their admit on the tracker on sites like this or clearadmit

But given how impactful these sites are for admissions, seeing that there’s only been one person accepted on this forum and a couple on Reddit, with the vast majority reporting WL, that is peculiar. I haven’t seen that at any other program thus far. Some are mentioning they’ve been WL since R1.

It’s a poor representation of the school unfortunately. To me it signals indecision and a lack of organization/coordination. I still want to go to Tepper but not at the cost of other admission opportunities.

I saw a YouTube video of someone waitlisted then accepted later with a full ride. So we have a chance. I really think it’s yield rate. Which is unfortunate because we want to make a plan.

It is rare but it does happen. Depends if someone bails and gets accepted into a diff program and then their $$ and spot become available.
So not all hope is lost but it is very hard to live in limbo/purgatory and some schools may keep you on the WL until 1 month before school starts. This is most challenging if you already have an admit and so you have to balance your involvement excitement - really a crapshoot of a situation. Most people give up on the WL around May 1 and commit to their other program. Just too hard logistically....

If no update as of yet it’s probably a symbol of either a really good thing or a really bad thing. It seems like most of the WL notifs were updated this morning. So either a call is headed your way or a potential rejection. But I’ve only seen one rejection today so highly unlikely.
