Now when we are talking of Consulting via TUCK, does it help pivot into Healthcare consulting firms beyond Mckinsey, BCG and Bain of the world? As a international, will my "domain expertise" of 15 years be transferrable to TUCK MBA and beyond, since I am looking for a 360 degree pivot from Finance/Controlling to Healthcare via Consulting route?

nawangagrawal5, without knowing much about your specific situation I couldn’t say. What I can say is that consulting is a route that is known to aid in industry transitions. Your expertise is on the high end so the adcom might ask why not go into an executive MBA program rather than a normal one but that you can explain on your application. I would try to look for people that have made a similar transition which I don’t think you would have a problem finding since many people come from finance into the MBA and transition into many different industries including healthcare

Is it true that not many or at least I haven’t come across someone above 34-yrs of Age making it to full-time MBA at TUCK and that too from Non-Military/Defence background, who are generally in their primary role of becoming Veteran after which they come-up with authentic and compelling reasons to apply to US Business schools?

Can you help me find people who have made similar transitions and someone not coming from Military/Army/Air Force/ Navy background but was successful ’admit’ to TUCK?

nawangagrawal5, I think it might be best for you to try to connect with a student ambassador from Tuck. In their website you can find many of them and their backgrounds and they are extremely responsive. I connected with one that then connected me with 5 others so even if they don’t match your description they would be a better resource for that

nawangagrawal5, I can tell you all of this because I already went through that process and it helped me a lot but I am still waiting for my decision as well so I don’t have deeper insight into the community
