So I understand that there was a round of early admits for R2 that took place on 2/13/15.

Historically, has Anderson admitted applicants in multiple early waves during a given application round? In other words, is it typically either early admit or hear back on decision date or does history suggest there may be a possibility to hear some good news prior to decision release date of April 2nd?

In terms of my own metrics, I was invited to interview on 1/21 and interviewed on campus on 2/9. With an interview invite date of 1/21, this would be put me roughly 10 days behind all other early admits included on this discussion board. Congratulations by the way for those accepted early!.

I feel excellent about my interview, as well as my natural fit with the culture during my campus visit, but you never know with so many qualified applicants...

Historically each round has had 1-2 posted early invites on their blog. I believe there are 1-2 additional unposted ones as well (smaller, less formal). I believe, based on historical blog posts, that we should have one round of formal invites by the end of the month.

The 2/13 invite seemed to be mostly west-coast admits, so they can attend the 2/25 admit day events.

At least 2 of the 10 early admits on here are based in NYC and at least 1 is international, so I doubt it had anything to do the admit day event. It does looks like all 10 of us that were admitted early were given fellowships, which is the more likely driver. I think Anderson realizes that it needs to be competitive with its par schools in order to protect its yield. My acceptance came through a week before the Stern one and right before the R2 interview period started at Duke. I doubt that was a coincidence. If UCLA waited until 4/2 to notify all candidates it would be likely that many would already be committed to other schools.

I believe last year in Round 2, there were two or three waves of early admits before the official decision deadline. Not sure if that will be the case again this year, but pretty likely.

I got an interview invite today at around 5:30pm PT. I will be interviewing Thursday, 2/26 on campus.

I was losing hope on Anderson but I guess invites are still going out.

BTW I am a Consortium applicant.

I checked with the Admissions team. You can send attested copies of your college documents. Make sure the attestation is by a competent college authority.

Done with my interview today. Not sure how it went ?Interviewer was nice and conversational. Interviework duration was less than 25 minutes and this is what I'm a little concerned about. No surprises in terms of questions asked

tell me about yourself
Why mba?
Why Anderson ?
where are you planning to take internships and what are your post mba goals?
How you lead in your regular working day?
Any questions for me?

overall I think I could answer most of these questions confidently but I probably should have spent more time on each question.

Good question. It's random. I was matched with an interviewer who knew nothing about either my current field or goal industry. However, if you get accepted, your Anderson student buddy will be someone from your goal industry.

To add to this, although it is random, prepare like you will be interviewing with someone that is in your target industry. When I interviewed, I was matched with someone who had previously worked in my target industry. His questions about my goals were much more specific than my interviews at other schools. Just make sure that you can clearly articulate why your past experience + Anderson MBA = your post-MBA career, and really know why you want to go into the field you do. I had a Skype interview this week and it was fairly conversational.
My interview was with a 2nd yr student, and I could tell how passionate the student was for the school.
Questions were quite generic: walk me through my resume, why mba, describe leadership experience, why Anderson.
My interview lasted about 30 minutes, but the last 15 minutes were spent for Q&A session about Anderson.
As the website described, I could tell that interview is used more as a confirmation method to make sure that I can speak eloquently and that I am who I say I am on my application.
