I've had a status change for a while now without any invite.

Personally, I feel my stats are good- 700 GMAT, 26 years old with 4 years of management experience, including operations management in which I led up to 30 employees at any given time. I've worked at a Fortune 100 corporation, speak Japanese, worked internationally... I know things are subjective, and I know admissions is more complicated than just picking good resumes, so I'm not saying I should absolutely be admitted but...I'm confused that I haven't at least received an interview invite yet. :cry:

Keep your head up, there's still a couple more weeks. My status just changed today..

Sometimes it's not just about how good you are but how you would fit with the rest of your class. My friend applied two years with a 760, 3.8 from a top school, 4 years in management consulting, pretty good ECs and got dinged from all his schools. Now he's going to CBS. The year he applied was just too tough and there were just too many like him. Also, it comes down a lot to personality and fit. Many of these schools are small, they want people who would work well together. Either way, good luck!

I just received an invitation to interview. As someone said in an earlier post, all on-campus registration spots have been filled. I have sent an emailing asking if and when new spots will open up.

I am R2 applicant, just received my invitation to interview. Good news for all you other R2's out there, I will be declining their invite as I have already put in my deposit with CBS.

The change of status that you mean is : Your application is complete for committee review and will have a decision released by the publish date for your round. ????

So, if i don't get the invitation in the next 24 hours should I consider it a ding?

I checked out the Clear Admit interview wiki for questions to prepare for. The on-campus interviews in particular are usually really straightforward. If you know your resume and your why MBA/why Anderson/why now story, as well as a couple versatile work stories, you should be good.

Hi everyone, my status was changed late afternoon yesterday to "Your application is complete for committee review and will have a decision released by the publish date for your round." I read back several pages of this thread but can't really find out whether this change of status AUTOMATICALLY means an interview invite? Can anyone shed light on this?

People usually get an interview invite within 24-48 hrs of status change. If not then it probably means a ding

So to re-iterate, seeing a change of status does not equate to an interview invite and that if I don't see an interview invite by Monday or Tuesday or next week, consider myself dinged or waitlisted? Is that a good assumption to make?

Just out of curiosity...is there a concrete reason that we are assuming this? I know a number of posters on this site have reported this pattern, but to be fair we represent only a portion of all applicants.

Have there been any confirmations from Admissions?
