Has anyone else had an issue submitting their application for UCLA FEMBA where an error message occurs stating that there is a "missing California county" in the personal background section? There isn't a county option available in the personal background section, and I'm a bit worried since tonight is the final deadline for R3. Help!!!

Yea, I had the same problem last week and called in.

Simple fix.

Go to the BIRTH STATE and change it to something other than CA and save. Then return to that page and change it from the state you changed it to, back to CA and the county bar will pop up.

This has to do with BIRTH information, so make sure you do it for that section and then save it.

Good luck!

Congratulations to everyone who busted his or her behind to finish the R3 application.

Any advice for R3 applicants (what experience to anticipate as candidates in the last round, Super Saturday, etc)?

People probably hear this all the time but really don't be nervous about Super Saturday. It is pretty casual - you still should dress appropriately. Be conservative and today is not the day to express your gregarious fashion sense. The interview is most likely with a current student but could be an alumni based on the list of interviewers signed up.

I saw that FEMBA opened rolling applications. Do they do this every year?

It was not there last year when I applied. Just reached out to admissions and got this answer.

Quote:
We extended Round 3, so if anyone still wants to apply, they have to do so by June 17th. This means they would receive a late decision on a rolling basis.

Just out of curiosity, are there any guesses to why they extended Round 3? Maybe not enough acceptable applicants?
I wonder if this means a person who usually wouldn't get in has a shot here!

Hola! This is only relevant for admits from Spain & Portugal (or with high interest in working mainly in these markets based in Madrid!). I have just seen in Facebook the following:

Bain & Company Madrid Office is planning a Pre-MBA event at 19:30 in June 23rd and would like to invite the UCLA Anderson Class of 2018 admits. It is a unique opportunity to understand what we do in Strategy Consulting very early on!

Please **send an email to Patricia Miralles (patricia.miralles{@}bain{.}com, I can't write it as a normal email address, but you only have to delete the brackets) ** if you would like to attend, and she will answer back to you, or you can follow the instructions in the web page of Bain Madrid, where you also have more information.

If you are interested in Bain Madrid, even if you can't attend, also let her know!

Congratulations on your admission!
