It went something like, "My name is ______, I'm calling from UCLA FEMBA Admissions.... the committee has recommended you for admission to our program. <Pause for lots of excitement and joy> You'll be receiving an email tomorrow with what you need to do for next steps. We also want to thank you for applying early. We try very hard to get together people who are enthusiastic about joining the FEMBA class. We hope you have happy holidays!"

I'm sure I'm getting the details wrong, but that was the overall call. Short and sweet.

Congrats to all admits!

I see a bunch of required forms in my application status page, but no offer letter yet. In addition, for those admitted, any of you were informed about scholarship during yesterday's call? I inquired about scholarship yesterday and the lady who called me said she did not know.

I think you have to fill out all the forms first before you can see your letter of acceptance

It's every Saturday for your first 4 quarters. If you waive out of one of the core classes then you can choose an elective that might or might not fall on a Saturday.

Hello,

Anyone else get the email about the career management sessions. It appears they only have two sessions, one in January and one in May. Does anyone know if they are going to add anymore? As it stands I have travel arrangements already for both weekends so I'm not sure what to do.

Hi, I got email as well. There is also information about this event on FEMBA Admit website. I registered for May 1st.

Don't worry too much about it. You can complete it in your 2nd year. You just absolutely have to go to the one in August/September time frame. It is a requirement for on-campus recruiting. E-mail Susan or Gordon with your situation and they'll tell you more info.
