I was interviewed by her too.. lets see if I get "THE CALL" from her in the next few days.. UNC generally calls all the admitted students a day before the deadline but this time its a Friday..fingers crossed..

Am i missing something here? I have applied for Round 2 and have yet to submit my application... I saw that the interviews for R1 end on 5th, so I booked a slot for R2 interview, the decision of which will be released by 2nd Feb as per the website. I hope I have not done any blunder ...

No ankur.. you are not mistaken.. my bad for causing a confusion. I was interviewed by Julie when I submitted my application for R1 (early action). The decision for that is supposed to come on 15th Dec thats monday

Just submitted the application, in spite of the fee waiver, my status is shown as not paid. Does any one have any idea what has to be done. I have not sent my official scores to UNC, as I was told that we can send them later. Also, regarding the transcripts, the final page says we need to send the originals. Is that so, or we need to send those after the final admission. Any help would be appreciated Thanks!!!

Ankur.. your application fee state will stay as "not paid" for a couple of days as it takes time for the school to confirm your waiver. after a few days it would be changed to "paid". If that does not happen for more than 4 days..send them a mail and ask.. as for transcript.. I dont think you need to send the original.. I am a re-applicant at UNC and I have never been asked for the original transcript till now. I guess that would only happen once you have an admit..

You can just send the unofficial transcript for the application. If you are admitted, then schools typically require you to send the official transcript.

Does Indian applicants get the call as well or is it through mail regarding the admission decisions ?

No mate.. last year I was interviewed by Peter.. but the school's system was showing that Julie had only taken my interview last year too and thats why she called me back this year. I had to tell her that last year I was interviewed by Peter. She explained then that it might be some error in the system. Long story short-- your last year interviewer only takes the interview this year too...generally.
