Hi Guys,

Was anyone interviewed by Ed Anderson? I am trying to get hold of his email Id. If anyone has please let me know, otherwise i will send an email to their MBA Info.

mate..the only way you can get the contact info of your interviewer is if you ask them first hand or you ask a current student.
If you ask about the contact info from MBAInfo mailId they would probably reply that its school policy not to give out contacts of interviewers..

Thanks for the heads up man. BTW, any ideas on by when would the first set of results be declared?

if last year thread is any reference, the results should come on the deadline date only..hold on till then

Here's a question: Does UNC need official scores be reported by GMAC before the round deadline or will self reported scores in the application do? I am planning to take the exam late Dec and apply for the Jan deadline. However, I am not sure if the my scores will reach the school in time considering its the holidays.
Appreciate the help !

Hey,

I believe most schools, including KFBS, accept self reported scores in the application and the official scores can reach later. It takes GMAC around two weeks to send the official scores. I think you should be okay. If you would like help officially, you can contact their admissions office. They are extremely helpful.

All the best for the exam!

Regards,
Jay

Hi,

I'm an Indian applicant planning to apply before the January deadline. I was hoping if anyone could shed some light on how the college views applicants with little work experience. I graduated in 2013 and currently have 14 months of work ex (10 months as a decision scientist - Analytics and 6 months at a family owned business along with some experience at a start up since 2011. So my question is how does the school look at applicants with fewer years of work-ex?
Have decent GPA : 3.4. GMAT - 740.
Provided I do my essays very well, will the school accommodate a student with less work ex?Any thoughts?

I had a doubt in filling the application.
We have to upload our resume and also a document which details our work experience. Can any one please let me know what is the different between the two, because we have to write the job responsibilities in the upload document and those are already written in the resume

You can just mention your Key Responsibility Areas in 1-2 lines in this document. That is what I had done.

Don't worry too much about it man. Its just a part of the professional info gathering process i feel. However, if you want you can drop the Admissions team a small note for confirmation.

Well, i spoke to Adcoms about this. They basically said, your resume is a one page highlight of your career. Here in this section you have got a chance to elaborate on that . So you should make full advantage of this section clearing all the ambiguities that a person may face reading your resume. Having said that, i dont think you should be worried about repeatability

I guess the admits would come on the deadline only. Not before that.

I did the same and got the same response, they also mentioned not to worry about repetition ...
On a side note, I was amazed not to have found this question on the thread :)

Hello ,

I need some guidance for recommendation letters. I understand that these need not be submitted within the admission deadlines. Is there any time frame mentioned

There is no time frame as such but I would advise to have them submitted by the regular deadline. Your application will be considered incomplete without the recos. Any significant delay might affect the decision making process of AdComs. All the best.
