So what now? Wharton doesn't allow any additional materials, right?

Does anyone have any insights on what % Wharton historically accepts off the WL?

Extra quiet in here this year, no?

Anyone sending any extra materials? I know Wharton typically has said not to, but the emails from the waitlist director don't seem THAT explicit to not provide a quick update email, etc.

I agree, it is pretty quiet in here. Does anyone know of the due date for R1 admits to make their decisions? I'm hoping we will see some movement from the wait list shortly afterwards.

Just got an email from the WL manager, and at least the version I got made it almost seem as if they haven't taken anyone off the waitlist yet. Anyone else get that vibe (or get a different email that implies differently, or even have been accepted)?

"Now that the Round 1 matriculation deadline has passed, we now have a better understanding of where the Class of 2018 stands in terms of enrollment and potential need. We will continue to review the waitlist as we move throughout the Round 2 process and you will receive a status update by March 29, 2016.

We realize that remaining on the waitlist can bring mixed feelings, but please know that we only retain a waitlist in good faith that space may become available. It is also important to reiterate what an incredibly talented and select group you are."

I got the same update. Difficult to gauge whether folks have been taken off the waitlist or not as the language is general. Not sure why the email was sent in the first place. We were told we'd have an update by March 29 and that has not changed. I guess their trying to be nice about the entire process which is appreciated.
