Anyone heard back on the Re Vera employment verification yet?
I was asked to send along more information so Re Vera could access the online database one of my previous employers uses but haven't heard anything since.
You won't unless there's an issue (i had to set some electronic thing up through a past employer). otherwise, you'll just hear when it's complete.

Am I the only one NOT going to the Wharton Welcome Weekend? I think I'm coming down with that insidious "fear of missing out" syndrome already...

Decided not to go since I'm starting the Lauder summer session in less than a month and I'm doing a transpacific move next week...

Debriefs please! Or at least status updates...

I'm in the same boat - Lauder, not going to Welcome Weekend.

I think many of the advantages of going don't apply to Lauder, like finding roommates and meeting people before pre-term, since we basically have May as a welcome month.

Only thing I would be concerned about is that everyone who can will be signing leases this weekend and lots of apartments will be gone...could be tough to get a good one later on...

You are right about the advantages of having the whole school and campus just for yourself in May, but I would still go to the Welcome Weekend. Main reason: Wharton Follies, secondary reason: networking.

There is usually a lot of housing to choose from. You will not be underserved by the real estate market in Philadelphia.
On the other hand, if you are worried about competition for housing during the WWW, take a couple of days off, go to Phila and sign your lease before the stampede.

very nice lobby and rooftop amenities...but it seems like they forgot to update the actual apartments (though they charge rent like they did....)
