Does anyone know why we all got that 'next steps' email? It doesn't really seem to have much information that wasn't already included in the email received after originally submitting the application... Seems a bit repetitive.

Id say it was both weird and unexpected. Not sure what the purpose was really but hey at least were all still alive

I think it's no coincidence that Wharton sent that email out the day that HBS made it's first cut... It's like them saying "Hey, we're still here"

Haha, I don't know, honestly, for a school like Wharton that would be pretty lame...

Okay everyone... I interview quite a few people within the corporate and non-profit environment.

I did a blog post today on how I PERSONALLY prep for interviews. I hope it helps you on your journey!

Does anyone know until what date interviews will be conducted, and whether it's possible to interview on campus on Friday?

Has anyone tried sending additional information to Wharton? (Recent promotion etc)

I sent them a mail last week but haven't got a response yet.

FROM Wharton Admissions Blog: Round 1 Update
As the leaves change color in Philadelphia, the Admissions Team continues to hunker down and read through your Round 1 applications. We have thoroughly enjoyed learning more about each of you through your personal stories and experiences. With November quickly approaching, we wanted to update you on where the team will be traveling for the Round 1Team-Based Discussioninterviews.

Invitations to interview are slated to be sent out on Friday, October 31st and our team is excited to meet many of you during the month of November – whether here, on campus, or in one of our off-campus locations. For Round 1, our off-campus interviews will be held in Dubai, London, Mumbai, San Francisco, Sao Paulo, Seoul, Shanghai, Singapore, Tokyo and here, in Philadelphia. All invited candidates are encouraged to interview on-campus or in the off-campus location that is most convenient for you.

Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact the MBA Admissions Office directly at 215-898-6183 or mba-admiss@wharton.upenn.edu. We look forward to being in touch soon.

What do you mean by that? I thought CBS was your top choice?

I visited Wharton off cycle, I am not a fan of Philly but the campus and Rittenhouse sq. is beautiful.

OK Wharton, now that Booth's in the bag, we're best of pals.

Looking forward to a reciprocated love affair come 31st Oct.
