Guys! this thread has no life!

Come on.. last year there were so many posts by now.. The results day is less than a week away!
Here goes some more
data analytics!
Lets talk of the '
WAITLIST' decision at SOM.. What fraction will they Waitlist from the interviewees and what fraction from the total applicants who are not called for interviews? Any insights from last year's posts?
More or less this year R1 Gmatclub pool is
statistically similar to last year's R1 pool.
2014 intake R1 pool:
50 (interviewed)/199 (total R1 applicants) ->
37 Final Admits (direct + after waitlist)
2015 intake R1 pool:
45 (interviewed)/187 (total R1 applicants) ->
33-35?? (Any guesses here?)
(Possibly some R1 admits would have joined the thread after their admits last year, thereby increasing the total number of admits)
Experts such as
aerien can shed some light on the waitlist dynamics at Yale.
aerien was waitlist thread master for last year (though (s)he is not wait listed i believe) and current MBA candidate at SOM.
Thanks in advance for your comments/insights.
