thanks yibunny

I will say talk to more people from different universities and hear what the past and current students have to say then compare. Do not assume the rest of the schools are better because it was not mentioned in certain aspects.

If one based their information just on a forum or thread, they are going to be in for a shock. MBA is a big investment, I hope you have put as much time as possible in researching to choose which school is the best fit for you. For example: I do no see the point of applying to a top school specialize in consulting when the objective is to be a banker in mainland china.

Just FYI, I was offered the acceptance letter for all the schools I applied, which included schools from Singapore and Hong Kong.

I will question the motives of why the student wants to send private massage instead.

I am most willingly to share my experience about the program.

It's not my business, I would not reply any more, I read a thred post in china forum posting these
http://forum.chasedream.com/thread-865890-1-1.html

I am not saying negative in these MBA, I am saying that a thred post I read at china forum. CUHK had official reply on it, it is legitimate. You would trust it or not by yourselves.

Thank you bunny and edhorizon. I will think over again. Seems reputation is not good as I expected.

Hi,

The news is actually positive, it says the person had a Visa issue by declaring two visa statuses.. School placement is actually excellent vs. any global top ranked school. I am not sure to what you mean as not as good as you expected..

Accepted with scholarship, but regretfully I will most likely decline the offer.

I'd suggest to those who are considering attending CUHK, or any school for that matter, to schedule a classroom/campus visit, which will give you a good sense of the school's culture and capabilities.

Got admit today. Though there was no mention scholarship, but can anyone tell me is there still a possibility of scholarship? Also, it would be a great help if some alumnus of the college from India can be contacted?

You must understand the strength and why you are choosing the university as well.

If a school is famous for PE/VC but you are interested in consulting instead, obviously there is a mist-match. If a school focus is on Asia's culture however you are comparing against the West, is something you might want to re-align what you are applying for.

My 2 cents.

If the above examples are something that you had already done your research - I agree that, if possible, one should visit the campus and even a classroom session if possible. One will have a better understanding if the culture fits you.

Check with the person that communicate with you. Not everyone is entitle to sponsorship.

I could provide you some of the current or alumni students contact. Just drop me an inbox with your initial questions and contacts, I will forward to them and ask them to get in touch with you.
