My GMAT is also not yet ticked off. I had sent the scores on the deadline day and received the fulfilment confirmation by GMAC on the very next day. Would I be considered for R1?

Another person had the same doubt.

1) I have received no info on my Toefl waiver yet officially.

2) Heck, even my official GMAT score had not reached them till yesterday.

3) I was rushing to the office and couldn’t check the portal properly per se, but as and when I have a look, I’ll let you know whether everything is green or not.

But I had asked and they had confirmed, these things will NOT meddle with the interview invites.

I know the wait is painful man.

Also, if someone is rejected, how and when do the colleges choose to communicate this?

Fervids77 I emailed them too asking if not uploading the transcript (again - I still do not get the purpose of it, them receiving the GMAT score or the Fee / TOEFL waiver being processed will have an impact when they process the application. They said the process would not stop because of it.

As of right now, I have not uploaded the transcripts (again) as I need to get them rescanned. My GMAT is yet to reach them and I am waiting to hear back regarding the TOEFL waiver.

All of that in place, I got my Interview Invite earlier in the morning today.

Generally, it is on the decision date as mentioned on their portals. For all schools.

That is when they have to take the 3 decisions : Rejected, WL, or accepted.

I am going to opt for SKype as I doubt thy have anyone in Pakistan to conduct an in-person interview.

I have previously done Skype interviews.

Pros and Cons? I don't know. Never really thought much about interviews. The only thing that sucks big time is that these schools' interviews happen at night (sometimes post midnight) my time and giving a hundred percent at that point is sort of difficult.

About the how part.

Lets just say they are nice people and will send you a subtle e-mail. Only accepted candidates get a call (and sometimes they too get it quite late on the day but yeah that is generally the trend).

They update the same on the portal and / or email the candidate.

Yeah. Interviewing after coming back from a 9-10 hr day at the office is hell and that is what will happen for sure. I get your point.

Even alum interviews are mostly on weekday evenings (some of them won’t give you weekends to meet), so its more like you also need to manage your presence in-person.

I have only ever interviewed with AdCom on Skype and I have liked that experience.

But an In-Person interview would be better mostly on account of your timeline being kept in mind. You won't have to be up at 3 in the morning to interview.

P.S. I chose an online one anyway.

I got confirmation from GMAC that my score was sent to McCombs but on the portal, it is still shown as outstanding. How long dos it usually take for the update to be shown?

Mine took ~1 month post submittal for the first test and two weeks for the second test.
