Anyone still waiting for R1 interview invites? Submitted app on 7th Oct and all pending items got cleared on 22nd Oct.

Same here, submitted on the 8th, waiting to hear back from the team. The impatience is killing me. I end up checking if anyone's watched my introductory video pretty much every other hour.

I get it man. Hang in there. Rolling invite is a torture. But nothing can be done (especially the weekends).

Please try and focus on other things. Wish you a happy Diwali!!

I submitted my application on Aug 26. Haven’t received anything but an email on Oct 8 saying we have started reviewing your application. Understand my frustration ?

Even though I am not exactly in your shoes, I do get it man. I am also applying this year and sailing through tough times at work. :/

If this helps, irrespective of whenever you submit your app, the countdown only begins from the final day of submission. And people do get invites close to the end of that cycle or interview deadline (Nov 22 in this case). I know of admitted students who didn’t get any invite until their 36th day.

I hope they roll out the invites or atleast convey some decision on the application in the coming week.
Also, how about sending an email to the adcom rep asking for the status of the application?
Is it a good idea?
I know the status is displayed online, but just a reminder mail may help, won’t it ?

ashucr777 go ahead and write to them. If nothing else, it will show that the school is on a priority list for you.

I understand how frustrating it is. Just my 2 cents, there is no harm asking and you can go ahead and ask.

Not to forget the interview deadline is somewhere close to Nov 22nd and invites will be rolled out until the last 4-5 days too (not much for internationals).

If you are worried about sounding desperate, I’d advise to rather try and play it cool and even if you need to ‘remind’ them, do so by asking something on the grounds of some recent achievements that you made in the last week, or if you have some status pending shown on the screen. That stuff is sneaky yet smart enough to put you on top of inbox.
