Advice for all indian waitlisted students

waiting till 11 july is waste of your time. Even if you do get converted, getting visa on such a short notice is impossible.

Orientation starts July 11. So people who prefer not to miss in person orientation, would want to reach there by then.

I spoke to a current Simon MBA student (International - Indian) and she said she got her decision exactly one month before the start date and she could process her visa.

Getting visa is now is difficult, 1-2 months later, it will be more difficult!!!!!, On that note- Did anyone got their visa?

I think it is better to apply on the date of deadline, I received invitations to interview from schools more ranked than Simon when I applied on the deadline. I applied to Simon 03/05 and I did not receive an invitation

Does anyone have any idea about when the university usually send the offer to the waitlisted candidates? Is it often around the orientation date or could it be in the month of May too?

This is weird. I think they’re trying to guage overqualified applicants and reject them to protect yield
