Ms is generally offered to folks, if the adcom thinks they have lesser years or irrelevant (for post mba) work experience and/or if the adcom thinks there’s less years of relevant leadership roles in their work experience.

Would take this with a pinch of salt.

Since it is anecdotal.

yes agreed - i have 4-5 years of experience but none as a manager/ very little leadership

i am an architect with largely an IC role
