Just got waitlisted 2 days ago after interview. I applied in round 2. Does anyone know the chance of getting admitted from waitlist? 20% 30%? I'm so bummed. Thought I have a pretty good chance to get in.
You applied for the 11/15 deadline and interviewed and already heard back? Thats very quick! I think that many other R2 folks havent even heard back yet so dont lose hope

I managed to find this after a bit of browsing. Considering it's based off the data here it probably isn't entirely accurate, but I would make sure to follow up with Johnson and send updates (IE new GMAT scores/ continue to show interest in the program)

yes. that's what I'm gonna do. I sent them a letter showing my continuous interest and asking for feedback. and thank you for the data. looks like the admission rate from waitlist is very lower in general.

yes. that's my concern: I was put on waitlist so early. they usually give out admission more generally at the beginning, don't they?

I would think of it is the opposite: You are higher on the WL so as soon as a spot frees up, it's yours. When exactly did you apply? Things went quickly so I am inclined to think they like you. Also, did you exhaust both your letters of rec?

Also, I am no consultant but in other posts, I have seen waitlisted people put up their profiles so experts can tell them why they probably got waitlisted and design steps to overcome these issues. Just a thought

No. Did u? Jan round just started. Isn’t it too early for them to consider waitlist candidates?
