I want to understand the pre requisites of this course. Is it a mandate to have a tech background in graduation.
I did my bachelor's from an IIT in a non tech background and have 4 years of strong work ex in business development, new product launch and strategy in a construction equipment MNC (non tech again). Although, since last 6 months, I've been working as an associate PM in an early stage tech startup and been doing a few courses online. I want to get into the PM domain, because I'm enthusiastic to work in tech, understand customer pain points and have the creative approach to problem solving. I had taken the GMAT and scored a 700, but planning to retake it.
Do I stand a chance to apply to this course?
Any help would be appreciated.

I applied to this course for 2021 intake.
You do not need to have a tech background to get in. However, you should have made an effort to familiarise yourself with a programming language and development frameworks etc. You can do that with MOOC courses and volunteer or join some hackathons.
Yes, you have a chance to get in since you have already shown initiative in becoming a PM by working as APM.
I had the interview last week. Recos can be submitted later I think but the earlier the better. Admission team will reach out if it is not complete. Within 2-3 days of submitting should be good. I am saying as per my understanding. Best is to ask them on email. They respond actively. Cheers!

Did anyone get invited for the interview?
I am applying for Round 2. Could someone please confirm if the recommendations also need to be closed before deadline or do they get some more time?
Hey! Those who got interview call, can you please share what kind of questions they ask and how long is the process?

Thanks Neha for the quick response. Hope your interview went well How was the experience? Do they mostly ask behavioral questions?

I had my interview in R1. I had prepared using the interview debriefs shared for Tepper MBA interviews.
It was a very good experience. The interview revolved around my past professional experience. I would suggest preparing from your own essays that you submitted since they answer most of the questions. Apart from them, there can be behavioral questions if your answers to preliminary questions lead the interviewer there. To sum it up, the interview is not intimidating at all. If you wrote your essays after sufficient introspection, you are already prepared.
It was supposed to be a 30min interview but we had enough time left in the end to talk about the campus, climate etc.

Hey! I have applied in round-2 but haven't heard anything from the University yet. Assuming that they give a week's time before the interview, hopefully, we should have something by this week.

Nope. I called the office today. They said that they don't have any any fixed set of days for the interviews. They are going to roll out the interviews anytime from now to just before the decision deadline.
Did any one of you checked with the admissions team on what's going on with round 2 applications? When I called they said they would be rolling out interviews but it's just not coming!!! I am losing my patience now... 😛
