It depends on a lot of factors
- how well you know the school and its offerings
- ⁠whether you are able to link your previous experience and the goal after completing the degree
- ⁠If you are sure that you want an Mim and not MBA ? And why at this point not 2 years later
- ⁠whether your scores throughout your journey is coherent (if you scores are very less during the previous degrees and suddenly a super high score in GMAT that’s a negative)
- ⁠if your long term goals align with the short term
- ⁠and lastly are you a people’s person

It could mean anything..like you were thinking to deliver something and there were some issues due to which you had to delay

In two years of work exp I think you should have similar experiences

I think it’s more like a two way, like a give and take situation to check if you are a good fit.

Yes ! I agree to this...just dont ask the question at first will i get an MBB consulting job if i go to this school
See if the school has courses , events, fairs , projects,interations with RHs in events etc that would align you to the job market ( in european schools there isnt any concept of campus hiring)

I’d say that if you’ve been scoring just above average throughout—say, around 60–70%—and then suddenly score 90% on the GMAT, it can raise some questions. The admissions team may wonder whether you cheated, whether you’re genuinely very good at handling standardized tests, or whether you simply had an unusually strong, short burst of focus.

If that level of performance doesn’t continue, you could potentially face difficulties after graduation. Schools generally want students who are consistent, or at least able to explain a significant jump in performance.That said, if you’ve consistently scored around 60–70% but your Quant and Verbal abilities are supported by Olympiad results, other standardized tests, strong academic performance, or similar evidence, then the higher GMAT score is much easier to justify. Without any supporting evidence, though, I’d be somewhat suspicious too.

These are interpretations of what not to do and how to make your application sound coherent...not stated as rule anywhere

as sometimes high scorers are also rejected while less scorers are accepted

A nice take indeed!

GMAT is just a part of the application not everything you need for an admit

But as always higher the score the better (just be able to justify yourself as you will get 1200 words + an extra essay to describe your story)

Moreover , just including them isn’t gonna do much...as I said before the essays play a very big role in making your story sound true
