PwC CPA here. Don't you think schools are lil biased towards CPAs?

Ha, I've wondered. I know some CPAs who have been accepted, but it doesn't carry near as much weight, if any, as I thought it would. Oh well, we do what we can with it.

How does kroll verify? Do they call reference providers and company HR? I have not told my manager about it and don't want him to find out now, as I am planning on telling him in mid-april as my AMBA programs starts on 5/6

Johnson uses Re Vera not kroll. They will not do anything until after they reach-out to you for payment for the process (i think $75), and you pay. Once that happens I think it takes a few weeks for them to check everything.

Got an interview invite yesterday as well! Scheduled a Skype interview for next week because of the short time frame and I'm in nowhere close to Cornell... Hope that doesn't hurt my chances

As a mac user, let me say, I am sad to be gearing up for the transition to PC. Yale includes a new laptop as part of tuition, and I would be surprised if they were alone in that. Cornell may or may not have policies about specs for integration with their network, so make sure to read up on the tech requirements. I was actually about to buy a new macbook, so finding out I'm getting a new computer in August nixed those plans.
