Received the admit call about an hour ago, thus ending my long admissions process. I was hoping for scholarship, but after I checked my application again, I realized that I checked "NO" on accident for the question asking whether or not I'd like to be included for merit-based scholarship consideration. I wonder if I can call or email the admissions office and have them include me for scholarship consideration?

This is unfortunate. Johnson does things a little differently - they require an essay from domestic applicants to be considered for the Park Fellowship, then invite selected admits to a scholarship weekend after Round 1-3 decisions are released. After the weekend, a few people are awarded the Park (full-tuition) and the rest are offered various partial scholarships.
My application status hasn't changed yet. Does it mean I'm in? (Since the WLs or Dings have got their results...) I haven't received any call yet....still worrying...T.T

If you do receive the call, can you ask the adcom if no status update means "in"?
I just got the call as well! interviewed 3/27... also was told that scholarship information isn't determined yet and it would be a separate decision on Friday
Congratulations slamdunk24! What are you thinking between Stern and Johnson?

I'm actually leaning towards Johnson... if I get some $$ my answer would be easy though We'll see...

@mathsdaniel: I also haven't received either (the call or a status update). Are you interpolating that WL's/Ding's have already gotten to know because some have posted this, or does this have a greater sample size of observation? This wait is really killing. I am an international from India and I'd want to go to sleep, but I know I wouldn't be able to with all this wait...

This is just a guesstimation based on my observation towards a few samples here.
Since it's the notification day and those who r WL or Ding won't receive calls, the only way for them to know about their results is thru the status update in the application portal. So I think if someone is ding or WL, he should already be able to know that thru their updated status

I think u should go to sleep. They stayed up working very late last night and probably will do the same today. I think they will consider ur time zone and call u tomorrow morning

Just got an update and I was WLed. Time to sleep and think about this another day. Oh I have already crossed that day!

Sorry to hear that, but congrats on Stern. Think of it this way, you'll be hanging out in the village in NYC, and we'll be digging ourselves out of 3 feet of snow.
I'm sure you'll meet some Johnson 15's during recruiting events if the WL doesnt work out
Found out through a status update that I was WLed after interview. International student.
I also called admissions after that to ask regarding the odds of getting in off the WL and by when I could expect an answer, not wanting to miss my other confirmation deadlines. Expectedly, they could give no info.
Chances for getting in from WL are pretty slim, right?
Down at the bottom after I log in there is something that says your decision is available. I'd say if you don't have that you have a good chance.
Man, I do. waitlisted as well.
I feel ya. Seems like there are a lot of waitlists.
