I don't think your assumption is correct. If I am not mistaken, only about 3-4 interview invites have been sent our by the Adcom so far (alteast on this forum). So I think most of us are still in the game. My guess is that we will start hearing from the Adcom starting next Monday and until the month end...I may be completely off though...

I take three main points away from the p&q article: 1) Johnson has taken a different path to evaluating applicants and has put more emphasis on soft skills (interviews). 2) Apps were up last year, the trend continues this year in the EA round. I bet that now with the new ranking they will keep on increasing 3)They interviewed 700-800 applicants out of 2,100 (30-38%), and the admissions rate was 27%. So basically if you are invited to interview you had a 70-90% chance of being admitted. Posted from my mobile device

Invites... Still haven't received an invite yet...are invites still going out? does anyone know? or are my chances nil? thanks

I was going through last year's thread and interview invitations for the most applicants started to roll out in the third week after deadline. We're already into fourth week. So getting a bit nervous. At the same time, as per this thread, hardly any interview invites have been sent out yet. So fingers crossed. Hopefully, interview invites for most of us will start rolling out from next week.

I hope so, but who knows with the short week... I'm getting restless

Also surprised not to see more yet. But I feel good about the fact that no one from the northeast has been invited yet. Invites will come in bunches Im sure, there are a lot of qualified people around here waiting.
