Guys don't lose hope. Enjoy the weekend..
Below text from (https://www.darden.virginia.edu/web/MBA/ ... -to-Apply/) should help you all:
"Please note that interview notification can take place at any time up until the decision release date for the deadline in which you have applied."

That is correct. I emailed Darden last week to confirm that statement. They replied stating that interview invitations are extended until the decision date. Such a practice was followed previous year and this year is no different.

If any Indian (Living in India) has received an interview invite, please post it here to clear the confusion. It will help us to understand the outlook. Also, I strongly feel many internationals and US locals are yet to receive invites. Keep the chin up mates.

One of my friends, Indian in India (like me) got an invite 2 days ago. But when he booked his interview slot, he noticed that there were 8 slots available to choose from 20th and 21st Nov (Skype), and he selected one out of them.

Later, he checked that 3 are remaining. And since it's skype, these slots don't necessarily apply to Indians. Could be folks from anywhere (presumably outside the US of course as they encourage all US nationals to interview on campus).

If only 5 people BOOKED slots from these two dates, I can only infer that most of the international folks are yet to receive their invites.

Correct any flaw in my reasoning folks.

P.S. - I did not get my invite yet.

Thanks Sarthak. At least we now know that Indians (living in India) have started getting invites. I guess next week is crucial. Most of the invites will be out by next week.

I just spoke to someone who went through this process last year. Indians can expect invitations upto first week of December. In fact same is true for American Applicants also. I hope this information will relieve some of the stress :)

Received an invite yesterday night.
Indian living in India!

To give my two cents on the interview handouts, I had dropped an update (about my designation) a few weeks back but received a confirmation mail from Darden 3-4 days back. This was followed by my interview call. My guess is that they have just gotten to Indian applications. I would expect more interview calls soon.

Keep your fingers crossed!

FROM Darden Admissions Blog: Darden Social Entrepreneur Featured in Poets & Quants

After a career working in non-profit and philanthropy, Veneka Chagwedera (MBA ’13) knew she wanted to start a social enterprise and give back to the community. In 2012, Veneka founded Nouri Bar, a socially conscious company that produces organic, all-natural and vegan energy bars. For every Nouri bar sold, a free, hot meal is given to a hungry child in school.

Under the guidance of Darden professors Saras Sarasvathy, Jeanne Leidtka and Ed Hess, Veneka launched Nouri Bar in Darden’s i.Lab Incubator with partner Jared Crooks. Nouri Bar has since provided over 20,000 meals to impoverished children in southern Africa. They hope to expand the program into Guatemala, Haiti and India by 2014.

Nouri Bar products are available for purchase online and in stores across the East Coast. Visit the Nouri Bar website for more information on their products and social mission.

On deadline day, will those who were not invited to interview receive a notification of rejection from Darden? (To at least know their application didn't disappear into thin air...) Or will not getting an invitation by that time be the only way of knowing of the rejection?

Also, I remember reading that Darden gives feedback on failed applications. Has anyone viewing this thread done that in the past?

I would think all applicants would get a notification on the deadline date.
