Although i have been denied and would not be benefited in any way, i love your attitude man !!! it takes lot of courage to withdraw your name, even though you have been accepted at other programs,for the sheer greediness of human nature, which i think is due to the amount one spends to prepare an application and hence wants to see a green signal from the school even if one knows that he/she will be turning down the offer.

My salute to you !!!

I got the call yesterday and was accepted! I'm so excited but I got the email my status changed and it hasnt yet - is anyone else having this issue?

At the bottom of the page there is a link, something like "Updated application status", I don't remember it exactly and I don't have it open.

However I am not sure that scholarship info must be available there, as long as the adcom explicitly states that all scholarship info is included into the snail mail package.

Does anyone see any scholarship info on the online letter? If yes, are you a Consortium applicant or did you apply on your own?

I applied on my own and I see nothing on scholarships on my letter - just for statistics if anyone's interested.

I am not a consortium applicant and saw my scholarship offer in the online letter. I clicked on the link "Status update" and it took me to the page with two letters - 1) The admission and welcome letter from Sara Neher; 2) (below the first letter) Letter from the director of financial aid Susan Loduha with the info on scholarship.

Thanks! Appreciate it. Not for sure where I am going yet. Going to attend some admit weekends and try to make a "holistic" (such an adcom word haha) decision.

Yeah. I just saw what the healthcare costs for a family of three (on the portal), and the number stings a little. As long as I keep the cocktail budget intact, I think I can make it through :wink:

actually quite shocked. i was quiet on here today and yesterday b/c I was expecting a ding. Went and gave what I felt was my worst MBA interview of my 5. Will hang on though until one of these schools opens their door.

Do you ask for waitlist in your essays instead of an admit? I am very hopeful that you will turn one of them into an admit (hopefully all four of them). Booth is known to admit lot of people off of WL. Good Luck bud

They actually set up an app for the waitlist just for me. The essays are more along the lines of what are you ST/LT goals and how do they make you a good fit for our waitlist?

I see many successful re-applicants. I am dinged w/o interview and i am going to apply next year. Some info: my friend at kellogg told me that you have good chances of scholarship but i was hit right on face. :(

1. Any tips on what should i do ?
2. how did you guys make full benefit of feedback opportunity that darden gives to denied applicants. I mean can i clearly ask adcom "why i was not admitted". i don't want to be arrogant but i want some constructive feedback because every other b-school student i tell my story feels i have good chances and that is something that makes me more perplexed in identifying the area i need work on
