Please I have a question regarding how I sometimes analyse this question.
What’s Jim average speed in miles per hour for a trip that took him 30 min
1) Jim drove 25 miles
2)Jim maximum speed was 75 miles per hour and minimum speed was 25 miles per hours.
I wanted to mark A but selected E because
Regarding the first statement we know the distance. But I overthink sometimes maybe he didn’t drove during that 30 min ( drove 15 min take a break 5 min and drove again 10min) and mark as insufficient
Is there a difference between he leaves home at 9:00 am and arrive at 9:30 am and the trip took him 30 min ?
And should I have to consider the first statement as he drove without a break?

av speed is total dist/total time, even if he stopped, in that case that time is added in 30 min only.
so just do 25/0.5 mph
i think the break part is out of scope for this question, however i have seen questions where the break aspect comes in as well.
