A total of five nations—J, K, L, M, and N—are competing in a series of competitions to win gold, silver, and bronze medals. Of these five nations, the nation that won the most gold medals did not win the most silver medals, and the nation that won the most silver medals did not win the most bronze medals. Taken together, Nations J, K, and L won fewer gold medals combined than did Nation M alone, while Nation N won more bronze medals than did any other nation.
Based on the information above, select Gold for the number of nations that could have won the most gold medals, and select Silver for the number of nations that could have won the most silver medals. Make only two selections, one in each column.
Options are 1,2,3,4,5
The answer given is 1 for Gold and 3 for silver
But my doubt is can’t the nation with most gold also have the most bronze medals? there is no restrictions on that right?
