Hey, Prodigy keeps pushing my loan certification date. 2 May -> 22 May -> Mid June -> Mid July (latest).

Considering my payment is due on 1st Auguest, it's creating issue for me. Anybody else facing same thing with Prodigy?

Start with sharing my situation:

1. I've got admitted email & letter on 23. Jun. 2025
2. Accepted through the portal
3. Didn't paid the deposit yet
4. Started to apply for a student loan at Prodigy Finance
5. Whatever amount I enter, it ALL Declined and customer service doesn't answer for the reason of decline.
6. I called to my friend to test if he can get provision offer.
7. He tried 2 times with realistic numbers, ALL Declined.

Addtionally, I'm from South Korea.

At this point, I am not sure what is wrong. Does anyone had similar experience?
Or can you guys can help me what I can do?

In my experience trying out several options, the school/program seems to be the most important factor. For the schools that they did offer a provisional loan for, they give an offer even if I choose the max amount possible (around $200k for Booth, Columbia and $100k for CJBS), while they reject even the minimum ($10k) for the other schools (LBS and INSEAD). They seem to hate these two for some reason :)

If they rejected CJBS as well, I'd have thought it's US vs Europe related due to US' higher earning potential but CJBS negates that argument. Perhaps they treat Oxbridge seperately than rest of European schools and the MBA benefits from that as well.
