Hello,

Thanks for providing responses to our questions.

I have a few and am looking forward to your responses.

1) Can a prospective student complete the desautels program without being able to speak french? Are there Job fairs where employers speak english?

2) Can you be a student and work part time?

3) For non-french speakers, whats the post mba experience? can they work in montreal or do they have to move to english speaking provinces to get Jobs?

Awaiting your response.

Thanks again

Hey, I am aware that Mcgill has rolling applications. I applied way early before the 1st deadline; however, i am waiting to hear from them. see a noticeable difference in their approach to tackling applications compared to that of last season. how long should one expect to wait before he or she hears from them?

Hello! Thank you for your message. The average review time is 4-6 weeks from the time all documents have been uploaded.
The applications have gone up in number again this year and so we are doing our best to process them all as soon as possible. I invite you to email me at keum.brochet@mcgill.ca with your full name and McGill ID and we can check what the status of your application is.

Hi,

Can you please shed some light on post MBA career opportunities in consulting or product management in Quebec. How important is a fact of knowing French ?

Thanks

French is an asset although not required by all companies or role. Our students however don't all stay in Quebec post graduation. We have 45% of the students who remain in Montreal, 35% who go to Toronto and 14% who go to Ottawa, Vancouver, Calgary, etc. in the rest of Canada.
We offer free French classes to those who have an interest in getting to know the local culture but the majority of our students don't actually learn French during the two years they are here and the majority of international students who find internships and jobs within Montreal don't actually speak French.
This being said, there are companies that do want bilingual speakers so if you do speak French, additional opportunities are available.

Hello,
1)Please refer to the answer previously provided above. French is considered an asset but not a requirements. Most of our international students don't speak French and find great positions in a variety of fields in Montreal or Toronto.
2) Yes. International students can work up to 20 hours per week, although it is not recommended during the core.
3) Please refer to our statistics on the website. 45% of our students remain in Montreal 35% go to Toronto, 14% go across Canada. Just like most Harvard students don't remain in Boston, we pride ourselves in offering a program with a brand that students can leverage no matter where they go in Canada and around the world.

Hi all,
I was trying to fill in the application (the part before payment) and I noticed two options for program which are MBA (Internship) (Non-Thesis) and MBA (Non-Thesis). Can someone shed light on the difference between the two?

I intend to apply for the full time MBA program for 24 months which starts in the fall of 2020.

Thanks in advance.
