Hi Adesh,

Scholarship also depends on whether you would be a good fit for the college and whether the college will be a right fit for you. At the same time your experience also matters a lot.

Having said that you can expect schol of about $8K, minimum, if everything goas about smoothly. More if it goes exceptionally well.

Hi,
I was interviewed on 27th Feb. I wanted to know how long do Mcgill adcom take to send the final decision?

Ideally you should wait for about two weeks before you can start freaking out.

The general idea is that you should get the result within 4-6 weeks from the date you applied.

I got my result in 4 days after the interview, but there are students who have had to wait longer.

My opinion on the actual amount of work experience and gmat score required for admittance is 3 years and 660.

The experience mentioned on the website is about 4.5 years (Average) and the average GMAT between 650-670 (As it is not mentioned on the website, it is speculative- Ihave heard about 670 from Jonathan Khayat, but at the same time I have heard about 650 by Antoinette, another Admission Director)

HI

I am confused on what to be added to the CV/resume doc.

The work history doc that they also require contains the responsibilities and accomplishments. So what do I add to the resume now ? Can I repeat the info once more ?

Also can someone suggest if there is a maximum resume length as well.

If possible, try to include everything first n the resume and then look to add something more in the work history form. The adcom will have only your resume with them at the time of your interview so it is imp for the resume to have everything in place in a concise manner.
Try to make it as a one pager as i believe that is the best representation of your skills in a concise manner. Although, i dont seem to remember whether you can make it a two pager, but the one pager has a better effect any day considering that the interviewer doesnt like to glance at the resume more than 3-4 times.

I am thankful for receiving many helpful advices here.

I am confused about the deadlines that is coming up: March 15. The concept of first submitting and paying the application before actually uploading the docs is throwing me off.

I have already submitted and paid the fees and I am able to access the documents upload page . Is the March 15th deadline is for uploading all the required doc s or can I upload the documents few days after the March 15 deadline and still be considered for the round?

Besides are the letters of references supposed to also be sent in before the deadline ? The website is not clear on these issues that I have.

Shoot your queries to the Adcom Asap. They might be able to accommodate a few things. Especially because youve paid up the fee. But you need to ask the Adcom such queries, straight up!

Hi,

For Mcgill is their any particular format for CV that we need to submit ...and how does it differ from resume that we use for other schools?? Also at the time of application review do we need to submit our official GMAT and TOEFL scores or we can upload unofficial score reports as pdf and submit official one's later?? Would really appreciate if you could help me with information on this.Thanks

Hola everyone,
I have also received an admit today. However, I am in some doubt which college to choose. Need some help.
1. I am admitted to Mcgill with a scholarship.
2. I am admitted to Schulich york without a scholarship.
3. I am admitted to Illinois with a scholarship.

Hey guys, I'm a prospective applicant for 2016 intake, and I would like to understand about the CV requirement.
Where other schools seem to be interested in a resume, Desautels seems to want a detailed CV? Can any of the current students advice on how long your CV was when you applied to Desautels and to what detail please?
