Dear all,
My name is Nicolas; I’m 33 years old; I studied computer engineering, and have more than eight years of experience in the technology industry. My last four years have been as the Head of Big Data (two different companies).
I just received the confirmation to join a full-time MBA program (top 15 rankings), but I'm wondering if I should just choose an Online Executive version and avoid to quit my job.
My main goals are to accelerate my professional career into a C-Level position (Chief Data Officer), build a more comprehensive network, and ideally gain international experience. Of course, the last point is going to be hard, considering an online program.
What do you think? Is it worth leaving a job with an almost six figures salary before than two years? Somehow I feel the pressure that I won't have another chance of joining a full-time program because of my age, but on the other hand, I'm worried that leaving a management position in less than two years could harm my career.
I would appreciate your opinion.
