I think it is also nice to know the number of IR questions you answered correctly.
It seems that the only section that displays correct/total is IR. In the example we can conclude that the test taker got 7 out of 12 correct.
I was thinking in my last post (how humble!) and I figured out that this way GMAC will sometimes be releasing the number of experimental questions the IR section contained.
If the correct/total percentage is a number with several possible combinations such as 50%, then more than one option is possible: 4/8, 5/10, 6/12 correct (4, 2, and 0 experiemental qustions correspondingly).
If the correct/total percentage is a unique combination such as 58% (7/12 correct, thus 0 experimental questions) or 56% (5/9 correct, thus 3 experimental question), then GMAT will not only be releasing the number of correct/total questions but also the number of experimental questions in IR.
What do you think, bb?
Interesting idea. What would this knowledge give you or enable you to do? knowing you had 3 experimental questions for example?
