Enhanced GMAT Score Reports Coming Feb 2015


GMAC is releasing a new product some of you may have heard already - an Enhanced GMAT Score report - it is an optional product you may purchase after you take your test for $25 Update: The enhanced report will be available retroactively as far back as October 2013.

My guess is that only those who may want to retake the test will purchase it to understand some of their weaknesses and perhaps check the suspicions. It has a split of scores/performance based on each general category such as Critical Reasoning or PS. The only two topic-specific parameters are Algebra/Gometry and Arithmetic. These will be hard to use to figure out specific performance on probability or any other question type. However, some may find it useful - my only stretch here is that perhaps CR/RC/SC split in terms of percentiles will help folks to zero in on specific Verbal areas and that's worth hours and days of time savings potentially. I am really curious how it will be used as I am scratching my head right now.... you have more thoughts?

Bumping this as I feel many people are not aware of this new facility provided by GMAC.

I downloaded my ESR and it's amazing the amount of information they give out. I feel this is a great tool in the hands of anyone whose retaking the GMAT.

It usually is very quick. Did you try going into your MBA.com profile page and then navigate to your purchases? You will then see a "activate" against your ESR purchase. Click on that and you should be good to go. Once it gets activated, you will get an email with a PDF version of it to download for your records

Guys, I also bought ESR and have question. Any ideas what Arithmetic and problem solving sections means in quant? (Algebra/geometry & DS are separate). Thanks in advance

A new, enhanced version of the GMAT® Enhanced Score Report (ESR) is available for your students to purchase. The report has several new features that will provide better ways to leverage their test experience to improve understanding of their GMAT exam performance.

The enhancements include, three new tables that show their performance as they progress through the verbal and quantitative sections, as well as updates to the Help section and more:
• Percentage Correct - Knowing the percentage of questions answered,
correctly and incorrectly, helps them understand how they earned their
score.
• Level of Difficulty - The ability to see the average difficulty per question
helps them understand how well they performed on more difficult questions
• Time Management - Understanding how much time they spent on each
question aids in determining if they adhered to their time management plan.
