Hello everyone,
Essec, Singapore (Digital Business, MBA)- 50% scholarship
ISB, India- No scholarship so far (negotiating)
Nanyang (Strategy and Innovation, MBA), Singapore- 30% scholarship (negotiating)
Post MBA goal- Digital Strategy consulting at Accenture, Deloitte, Strategy&, etc.
Intermediate term: FinTech startup
Location- Anything between Singapore and India
Current: Indian, Internal digital strategy at top BB bank in India, 3.8 yrs experience, Engineer from BITS Pilani
Some factors:
Cost: E(most affordable)>N~ISB(including living expenses)
Job security: ISB>E~N
Chance at top consulting firm- ISB>E>N
International exposure: E>> N (ISB, don't bother)
Global ranking- E(not still ranked on FT, very new program) N ~ ISB
Course structure- E(Digital Business major has a dream course structure for my goals)>>N>ISB
Class size- N(~100)~ E(~100 overall, digital biz has ~10)>> ISB(800-900)
Alum network at top consulting firms- E~ISB>N
Peer group- Not sure about Essec, N>ISB
Additional points:
1. I would love to have an international exposure, but not at the cost of 'not getting a job in that country(Singapore)' and coming back to India to get a not so great job.
2. Also Essec's course is really good, but its extremely new, infact its their first batch in Singapore campus, although they claim to have to great relationship with the companies I listed(Accenture, Deloitte,etc)
I need to make a decision by 15th March 4 PM IST (ISB deadline), so request everyone to advise.
