Let the no that leaves remainder of 2 when divided by 3, 5 and 12 be Q. We can safely say that Q-2 will be a multiple of 3, 5 and 12. Which means Q is a common multiple of 3, 5, and 12. We are required to find the least no. that leaves the remainder 2 when divided by 3, 5 and 12. In our case, we can find the least value of Q-2, which is the multiple of 3, 5, and 12. Least common multiple of 3,5, and 12 is 60. Thus, Q = 62. Option (B).

LCM of 3, 5 and 12 = 60
And number has remainder 2, so the number will be 60+2 =62.
