Good question. Verbal questions and even quantitative questions our almost like living organisms that evolve. They may seem straightforward at first but then the author me realize that they are complex and they originally did not consider every angle angle. I can tell you this applies to both verbal and quantitative. Quantitative is more straightforward because an answer is an answer but there are complexities with harder questions.
Even official questions, we have a president where GMAC had indicated did they changed the answer to one of the questions. The question is an exam pack one. They promised to take it out but it’s still there, five years later.
It is possible some questions of posted with wrong answers and that is why they are moved to an archive because somethings not quite right about them. Some questions are problematic. Sometimes even some of the official questions are highly debated. Hard grammar and see our questions a hard even to experts. Sometimes it’s a matter of opinion or perspective.
Perhaps we should delete the questions from the archive completely so it doesn’t throw anyone off?

Hi there ,
I am frustrated because of a question that is posted in SC archive. the question was posted by a manager and the correct answer is said to be option A. however, i bought a course from a company recommended by GMAT club, the same question exists in the that course , but with a different answer marked as a correct answer, say Answer B for example. to me , both answers has merits and justification, and I am not 100 percent convinced with either of them.
how to judge which answer is actually correct ? is there a panel that review the answers posted in GMAT club and verify that it is correct?
