Hello,
I am a 34 years old tech graduate interested in pursuing MBA to advance in my career. I am currently in the software industry and working as a System administrator with 10+ years of experience. I hope that doing MBA will help me to move into a management position. Which MBA option will suit best for my needs... FT/PT/EMBA or online MBA? I know nothing can match a full-time MBA from an elite business school but I need to be realistic and consider many other factors like I am currently working and cannot afford to leave my job, I am also a father of a two-year-old daughter and it will not be an easy decision to leave my family to relocate for MBA. My options are:
1.) Doing a part time MBA with job from my state university (Leeds school of business, Colorado University)
2.) Join a reputed online MBA program (with job)
3.) Leave job, get admission in an elite business school for full time, take education loan and get back to work later (Not an easy option. Needs time, relocation and money)

I'd either go the part time route, or find a local executive MBA program. It sounds like you're pretty established in your business, and you should be able to keep working with these options. Best of luck to you!
