Hello all,

I am getting this error when attempting to select answers for the attempted questions:

"You are not authorized to use the timer"

Also, the questions do not get logged in my Error log since 12:42 pm EST today (Feb 24).

Please help!!

Hello all,

Hi,

I am not able to use the My Error Log Feature. I took a quiz of 10 DS question and took notes against the wrong questions. However, those questions are not displayed in the error log. Is there anything else need to be done beside creating and saving notes against the question so that they appear in the error log.

You have to take the timer (hit the start button) and then push the answer button. It records the question in your error log that you can then review your timing as well as correct/incorrect answer.

Thanks for the quick response bb,

However, I am not able to understand which Timer are you talking about. I am taking DS quizzes in the Exam Mode and hence the questions are already timed. Once the quiz is completed, I am taking notes against the wrong questions. Is there something I am missing or doing wrong. Since I am new here and using the error log for the first time, I might be doing something wrong. Please suggest.

It is interesting since I don’t really know which error log you are talking about either. Error log - see the kink is the forum error log. If you are taking something else outside of the forum then it will not show up in the forum error log.

It would be helpful if you could link to:
1. The DS quizzes you are referring to
2. The error log you are referring to

I am using the Forum Error Log (Clicking on "My Error Log" when navigating through Forum->Main Forum -> My Error Log).

Also, I am customizing and creating DS quiz from the available questions and taking them in the Exam mode which is a Timed mode. (Navigation - Forum->Main Forum-> My Test->Quizzes).

I hope this is the information you needed. Please let me know if any other details are required.
