GMAT Club officially went live on December 11th, 2002. However, the domain name was registered on December 4th, so really have 2 birth days (a week apart)
At our seventh anniversary,
we were 75,000 members and today, we are 114,582!
There are too many accomplishments this community achieved this year to name them all, but I will point out a few:
- We are on the internet! (Duh). This year GMAT Club is included in the Top 30,000 most visited websites on the internet and 14,000 most visited websites in the US
- We are on Amazon.com. We have published the GMAT Club tests on Amazon making it easier to take advantage of these materials. Also, your humble servant here is also one of Amazon's Top 1,000 reviewers since August.
- We are on the iPhone & iPad. We have released a fantastic GMAT App for the iPhone and iPad - GMAT ToolKit. It has been featured in the iTunes What's Hot list in Feb & March 2010
- 100,000 member milestone passed in September. We celebrated it with a variety of prizes including Two First Class Trips, 2 iPads, numerous courses, packages, and books
- Launched GMAT Club Marketplace - single place for everyone find the best prices on GMAT and MBA products
- Partnered with 5 leading GMAT Prep companies to help address questions on the site: Knewton, Kaplan, Manhattan GMAT, Princeton Review, and Veritas Prep
- GMAT Ultimate Grammar - we have published the best GMAT book for Sentence Correction, specifically targeted at non-native speakers and those needing a lot of help with grammar
- GMAT Downloads - launched an easy way to find the best of GMAT Club resources
- Rhyme's Interview Webinar was the first GMAT Club's webinar
- Honorary Circle was started to encourage information sharing between the best of the best of this community.
- Added a number of talented moderators for all forums!
