I gave my free GMAT club verbal mock and scored 38/51....how can i compare it with original GMAT exam....what deviation will i get in the score of GMAT.....i'm targetting a score of atleast 38 in original GMAT so how does this CAT score reflects on that

Just FYI - you should not take the "free tests" - that's the worst decision you can make since all CATs and Quizzes are free.
You want to take the PAID tests that happen to be free :|

Thanks a lot but my question was how close are verbal CATS to the real GMAT. What is the approximate deviation in the score??

As per my experience, if you have never taken the "free tests", then your first test will be free test. You don't get option to choose only PAID tests. Until last Saturday, I had never attempted the free Quant test. I took 4 tests over the last 2 days. Now, the data shows that I have attempted my "free test" also. Nevertheless, I would like to thank BB for the kind gesture. It was a great learning experience. Also, I scored 50 on a test, which was the only test I was able to complete. :D

My advice - Please complete your free tests now if you are planning to attempt paid tests during any "Open days". Please note that all US holidays are generally "Open days" for GMAT Club tests.

I attempted only quant tests over the last 2 days. So, I can’t comment on verbal.
The level of quant questions was excellent ( definitely GMAT level). There were many high quality questions in the 700 level. If you’re looking for some good practice questions in quant, then you won’t be disappointed.

We have about 12 hours left for the GMAT Club Open Test day. A few quick reminders:

1. All tests and quizzes are open. Don't be the ding dong who goes and takes the "free" tests on the Free day. That's like going to the all-you-can eat buffett and filling up on the mints at the door. The mints are always free and so are the Free Tests. Instead, take the Quizzes and CAT's.

2. Question access expires midnight US Pacific Time today. This means you won't be able to access the questions or the explanations. So don't try to take 1,000 questions thinking you can get access later - it was due to people like that that we had to limit access to the explanations but also, make sure you do a thoughtful review of your tests. You will not be able to access your mistakes until you get a subscription.

3. Finally, there are several options for getting a subscription. Quite a number of them are free actually:

Why there are only 9 tests in verbal section while 24 in quant ?

Are you planning to increase the number of verbal tests ?

Thanks.

I guess one of the main reasons is that it is very hard to create verbal questions that match the quality level of GMAT. Did you finish all 9? You can also reset your question bank so you can take those 9 again. I am not sure if there are any plans to increase the number of the official tests at least not in the offing.

Hi everyone!

By popular request, we will be introducing (as an experiment) one more open day access for the GMAT Club tests for our second largest audience - August 15th will be a free access day to mark the Independence Day in India.

Access will be available on the Pacific Time :-) - hope that is not an issue and as usual will begin at 12AM and will last for 24 hrs.

Thank you,
BB.
