In Quants, in one test I got 3 ques worng and got 81 score and in another sectional, I got 8 wrong and got 80 points, I dont understand - Is it I should just make sure I dont do any mistakes early and if later we still do mistakes, we can anyway score higher or is it to maximize the number of correct questions that get higher score ? anyone has any idea ?

Hi. No. Don’t worry about mistakes early on. They don’t matter where they shouldn’t matter much. This is just a side effect which should be addressed within the next 24 hours. This has to do with choosing questions and in some cases the algorithm decides to stop giving you hard questions and it took a little while to diagnose it because it’s a very very complicated machine but it’s kind of a black box in the middle. set tearing apart the black box takes an annoying amount of time 🥴

Is there a way to switch back to the old algorithm while we wait for the fixes to the new one?

Yes, you can navigate to this URL (you just need to hit the button in purple pallet called ’go back’ ) - and then you will navigate to older test.

Hi guys , can you please help me . I am facing issue in increasing my score for 80/83 points to 87/88 points . I have done all my basics , all fundamental concepts but I am unable to increase my points especially in verbal . In verbal , what I did was all the questions that I got wrong , I asked GPT what is the pattern - which he told me was that in almost all answers I am answering a bit wide scope answers , but even after knowing I still somehow not been able to improve . Even in my first attempt I scored 80/81 in all 3 making only 615 , but my target is above 700 , is there any way you can help ?

Hey guys, What are the camera requirements for the GMAT Online test?
Do you need an external camera that continuously shows the whiteboard and desk during the entire exam, or is the normal MacBook or laptop camera enough?
From what I understood online, you only need to briefly show your desk and whiteboard at the beginning. I couldn’t find anything clearly stating that both must remain visible on camera during the whole exam.
Or do you actually need to buy an extra external webcam for that?

Hi Everyone,
This is my first time giving GMAT, can someone tell me how the GMAT exam is actually like, what is usually hard questions type and examples for quant and DI.
Would be really helpful

Thanks for guidance and advice
Why don’t you start with a mock test, you’ll get understanding of the concept, question types as well as the sections.
