Hey everyone,
I have a question about the GMATPrep software's accuracy with regards to the number of mistakes I can make. I know the test's adaptive and there's no exact formula. But I feel it's super inconsistent. Paradoxically, my overall score has been remarkably stable around 770.
My scores and mistakes are in the attached pic.
In Quant: I've made 6 mistakes and got a Q51!! Definitely an outlier. Then again 5 mistakes for a Q50 and 4 mistakes for a Q49...
In Verbal: 1 mistake got me a V47 and V48. 1, 2 and 3 mistakes got me a V47. V49-50 seems impossible even with 1 mistake...
Is the actual GMAT scoring similar to the Prep? How many mistakes is it safe to do for a V47? My Test 6 score has semi-freaked me out. Giving the actual exam next week. Is the actual exam's difficulty and length in line with the GMATPrep tests? I finished all the verbals' at the absolute last minute, except Test 6.
Thanks in advance!
